90.3 HD3

Kudos to WCLV for using an HD sub to fill a format hole. It would be nice if other local stations would do the same instead of airing programming that is already available.
WAPS has long been bullish on HD multicasting, as was WKSU (Folk Alley being the most successful example of the latter). Noncomm radio just feels more receptive to creating or sustaining new or niche formats.

As had been indicated on-air and online, WCLV is classical full-time again as of Monday morning. Classical 24 with Peter Van De Graff is airing in place of jazz.

This also makes WKSU-HD3/WCPN-HD3 (the one-time "WKSU All Classical" subchannel) a full-time WCLV simulcast, as they were airing Classical 24 in overnights anyway.

WCLV's online schedule has not been updated yet as it still shows Jazz overnight.

So Classical 24 is a syndicated program. Wasn't WCLV airing its own programming overnight before they switched to jazz?
If you go back in their weekly schedule tab to March 2022, they were airing a mix of Classical 24 and local host John Mills (presumably through voicetracking) in overnights. Weekend overnights were a mix of specialty show encores and current Sunday morning host Sam Petrey.

They have used the Classical 24 service as overnight backfill since at least the 2001 move to 104.9, if not earlier.

They haven't removed the "All Classical" stream from the Ideastream app, either, even though it is now fully redundant.
