I've never been demoted, but I had my doubts about it too. Although if you're still on the payroll and you get to travel around doing nothing but football that's not a bad deal really.

I didnt even realize the exact reasons I didnt like him, just that its painful to listen to his idiotic ramblings. He thinks that he should be in charge and he will not even realize that he does not have experience in radio. Jaimie in the morning realized that he needed to lay back to understand where he fit in, but Chuck S thinks he is the show and everyone else needs to stay in the background. He needs to just be the color commentary and not the play by play guy.

Word of advice Smith, the played in the league bit doesnt hold a lot of water with sports fans. All it means is that you kept quiet when your teammates were doing the groupies.
______________

I agree. With him #1 18-30 non-ethnic, he'll probably be moving to a bigger market soon. Was that your point?

I don't usually listen to sports talk, but this Chuck Smith guy must be good.

That is too funny, I am in that demo and I know of anybody that listens to him. Trust me, toucher, the ulcers will be ok and I am sure you can get a job telling farmers the weather reports in Oklahoma.
______________

Yeah but wouldnt that seem like one step closer to the door? Maybe they could get him at 680 and pair him with Perry to make his show decent.
______________

I agree and that was my concern when I first heard about the move. The bright side is that if 790 is stupid enough (just my opinion) to get rid of Chuck that he might land on 680. I would listen to that show no doubt.
