Donald Trump Runs Talk Radio's Dream Campaign-via Jamie Dupree

Let's face it...in many cities, talk radio is experiencing some of the lowest ratings in a very long time. There are many possible reasons, including the decline of AM. But talk radio isn't experiencing a bounce from this year's election.
 
I have a feeling the civil war between Trump cultists and #NeverTrump may be a reason.

Personally I think all the political chaos this year has made talk radio more interesting. Few hosts are just spouting the talking points of one side or the other ... rather they're being forced to think for themselves. Sykes (in the RadioInk article) sounds bitter that the one-sided talk radio mold is being shattered.
