In a message sent to Streamline Publishing co-owned publicationÂ*Radio INKÂ*on Friday, the son of former Radio Advertising Bureau CEOÂ*Gary FriesÂ*confirmed his passing early today, Pacific time, in Arizona. He had been in Hospice.

I can honestly say this man was probably the biggest negative influence in my Broadcasting Career. He took personal pleasure removing me from a position I loved in Hollywood so he could replace me with someone making a couple less dollars. Gary, I hope your last days on Earth were nothing but painful and if I would have known you were in Arizona I would have come to the Hospice and pulled your cords, much like you pulled mine!
