More Changes at Kicks

Kicks 101-5, which recently changed its slogan to "Georgia's country for life," is now "Atlanta's #1 for new country hits." (Country for Life has been the Nash slogan.) Although the new slogan is used by many stations, I thought "Georgia's country for life" suggested the station was older in its appeal.

CJ, who recently moved from afternoon drive to the morning show, has left the station. He had been excellent in afternoon drive and was one of the market's most skilled jocks. CJ's replacement in afternoon drive, Scott Gaines, is also top notch, but it's a shame CJ's previous position was filled.
