Sports Hub to continue as Patriots flagship no matter what

Could ESPN purchase WEEI from Entercom? They currently operate the station under an LMA, and I was thinking if it would be possible for ESPN to purchase the station outright.

I did read somewhere that ESPN could outright purchase WEPN-FM in New York City if Emmis plans to divest the rest of their radio stations.

Just because ESPN is aired 24/7 on WEEI doesn't mean there is an LMA in place.

Do you always get this aggressive with other forum users who aren't up to your precise level of FCC law and the basic principles of broadcasting? Just an observation. Nothing personal.
