WFAN morning co-host arrested for ticket fraud

This also points out to me the need for more regulation in the concert ticket business.

There's a case to be made for more stringent regulations regarding concert ticket sales and promoters, but in this case it appears defendant's claim to have access to the (amount of) tickets was bogus, based on (forged) documents which he created. Amazing that "smart" people fell for this con. Then again, not so surprising, seeing that greedy people are the easiest marks. As the adage goes, nobody buys a sales pitch like a salesman.

The discussion now is who will replace him. With football season upon us, I'm sure some would like to see Phil Sims win the audition. The problem is the energy level wouldn't be enough to hold people's attention. The combination of an ex-jock and a fan is what works. There are a lot of great people available, but waking up every morning is a whole lot of work.
