Well this may not be the appropriate place to ask about this.
But here goes, HOUSTON ROCKETS are for sale. Would it be wise for the CITY to purchase them?

I mean CITY OF HOUSTON with TAX MONEY of course. I know they're expensive but wouldn't they benefit in owning the team? Would any city benefit of owning their local teams. All the money from sales from tickets to team sport ware. And all the sponsors money would help too.
 
Wait doesn't the sale of a basketball team also comes with speculation of new stadium deals? Wow I didn't realize that the sale took place here.

But if the city owns the rockets they better have deeper pockets to fund the team for a certain number of years though.
