Entrevision to buy KMIR and KPSE Palm Springs

I wonder if Entravision would flip KMIR to Spanish? If so, it won't be long before Palm Springs is merged into the L.A. DMA.

KUVI, XHDTV, XHRIO/KCWT-CD, KFXV-LD/KXFX-CD, WJAL, KXOF-CD.

What Spanish language programming would they put on KMIR? The group that owns KESQ also has the Telemundo affiliate, and Entravision already has the two Univision networks.

KMIR currently is the 4th highest billing station in the market, behind KESQ's ABC and CBS affiliates and the Univision affiliate (the market is 52% Hispanic) and ahead of the Telemundo affiliate.

KMIR suffered during the years when it was bought as a spectrum resale play, and should do well under experienced smaller market operator Entravision and CEO Jeff Liberman.
