So that's pretty much about it. Take a good look at this list and enjoy it! If there are any questions, let me know.

Three (3) of those are LPFMs, but there are a few more,
mostly Hip-Hop and Christian in English, Spanish, and Haitien Creole,
and a few more translators relaying HD2's
but you would only hear the ones near your "listening post".
Some of the more interesting ones include:
94.5 -- WSQF (Classic Rock), Key Biscayne
96.9 -- (another WRGP translator in northeast Dade County)
99.5 -- WBUJ (Barry University), Miami Shores
103.9 - WZPP (Reggae) near Countyline Road
(with a construction permit to move to 96.1)
And of course my favorite:
107.9 - WMIV (Shake 108)

98.1 - WRTO: Mix 98.3 (Spanish Tropical)
There is a reason why this station is called Mix 98.3!

1580 .Fort Lauderdale WSRF.Not sure if the calls are still being used. Brokered Ethnic. Best use of HD signals are 105.1 and 101.5 with their soft AC almost oldies format. Using the life imaging it sounds like a religious station .
It would be nice to have a Classic Country and Standards format on the HD dial.Standards especially because of the sheer number of older people in South Fla..

I live in South Florida so I wanted to bring an update to the market, telling you what stations are available and any HD Radio channels, if applied to.

I added a couple of clarifications... (Great list, though! I have never seen one so nearly complete!)

1260 - WSUA: Caracol 1260 (Spanish News/Talk)

Colombian news and talk.

95.7 - WRMA: Ritmo 95.7 (Cubaton a.k.a. Cuban Hip-Hop)

Cuban reggaeton, not Cuban Hip Hop. Reggaeton is not Hip Hop in Spanish; it's a derivative of a Jamaican riddim with a salsa influence.

98.1 - WRTO: Mix 98.3 (Spanish Tropical)

98.3 and the format is Spanish language CHR. It's not "Tropical".

106.3 - WRAZ: Tu Bacana (Salsa/Spanish Music; station comes from Leisure City, closer to Homestead so signal was weak)

Format is Salsa and Colombian music (not "Spanish")

106.7 - WXDJ: El Zol 106.7 (Spanish Tropical/Merengue and Bachata)

Format is Spanish language CHR (Tu, Mix and Zol are, in effect, all the same format with different nuances).

107.5 - WAMR: 107.5 Amor (Spanish Contemporary and Tropical)

Spanish language Hot Adult Contemporary. More gold, fewer currents than Mix, Zol and Tu)

I didn't get any of those signals above.

And whoops! My bad. It is 98.3, not 98.1. Shows you how much I don't listen to the Spanish stations.

Thanks for explaining it because again, I don't listen to the Spanish stations so I just listed whatever Wikipedia told me.

...I just listed whatever Wikipedia told me.
Wikiwho?...LOL
Check a few widely spaced cities in Southeast Florida
at Radio-Locator.com.

BTW...I had an early Sparc when they were branded
as the Insignia (something like) Narrator
A great radio, I should have kept it.

A lot of shared AM transmitter sites in the area:

_560 & 1360 (1450 proposed)
_670 & 1550
_710 & 1140 (proposed)
_740 & _980
_830 & 1260
_880 & 1080
1170 & 1580
1210 & 1700
1400 & 1520 (proposed)

Wow thanks for the great list. Sadly only about 4 that I would ever consider listening to out of all those stations. Makes XM or the songs on my iPhone must haves in the the car!

I hope that this list encourages other listeners who have an HD Radio to compile a list for their area. I'm curious myself!
