Buffalo Broadcasters Association announced their Hall of Fame winners for 2017 today.
"Heading the Class of 2017 is the Voice of the Nashville Predators Pete Weber, WKBW-TV meteorologist Mike Randall, 97 Rock’s Carl Russo, Townsquare Media Associate Commercial Producer Jim Pastrick, WLV -AM Station Owner Dick Greene and radio newsman the late Ray Marks."
Certainly some excellent choices there who had great impact on Buffalo radio. In fact, I can't remember a class that had as many radio people in it. Mike Randall is the only primarily TV guy. I wonder if this is an indication that a more radio people have become members, or if there's a recognition that radio has been shorted in the past?
Let's just hope that Russo leaves his banjo home.
