Vimeo has scrap plans to release their SVOD service

The parent company of Vimeo IAC interactive had plans to release a service to compete against Netflix and Hulu but the execution has been scraped and plans to get original content was at play here for Vimeo.

However, YouTube, facebook live and apple already fill the void for their own services similar to what Vimeo was planning to do. This was what lead to Vimeo to pull out of the SVOD release.
