Sean Hannity radio show question

As I've said earlier, all this does is move ALL advertisers to specify that their commercials not air in ANY controversial programming, as has already happened with talk radio.

Yawn. Media Matters so-called 'campaign' will not have one iota of impact on either Hannity's Fox show or radio show.

It's not aimed at the radio show, because all major national radio advertisers are still enforcing the "do not buy" clause for "any controversial programming."

If such a thing is extended to TV, it could have an effect, but it wouldn't apply to just one show. It would hit the entire format. And who knows what effect it will have on anything Sinclair is planning.

What it's not effecting, at least for now, is YouTube, where apparently all controversial talk is headed, according to the New York Times.

It was interesting to note that even when Maddow was on vacation last week, her timeslot was #1.

She's not growing her audience as much as Fox is losing that slot by putting 'The Five' there.

FNC is still the most popular cable channel, despite the incompetent management of the Young Murdochs.

Neither Tucker Carlson nor 'The Five' are very good, but neither is most of MSNBC's lineup evidenced by the fact that they lag even the weak new shows on FNC overall:

Maddow didn't even show up in the latest ratings I saw for last week, for Friday:

Could you post a link showing her show won last week, Big A? I didn't see that those ratings had been released yet.

She was pre-empted by Richard Engle: On Assignment in that slot. He got terrible numbers.

I didn't say she won the entire week. But she did win Thursday, even though she was on vacation.

Wait Jack Abernethy is the leader of Fox News its just that The Murdochs have been forced to make post Ailes reforms after a series of racist and sexist scandals hitting Fox News in the Ailes era. Also you have to take into account the rumors of a "New Sinclair Network" where Mark Hyman, Bill O'Reilly and Hannity was specifically named to be one of its primetime pundits if Fox decides to sign affiliation deals with Ion media. Specifically KTXL Sacramento and KCPQ Seattle two of Sinclair/Tribunes Fox affiliates were named to be the Stations getting New Sinclair network if Fox goes to KSPX Sacramento.

The real question is how does Abernethy respond specifically given all the factors at play here plus the Lara Trump talk show on Facebook where conservatives are the target audience. The real question is how long can Fox rely on a Republican audience before they realize they need non-Republicans too.

I agree. They already weathered the storm with Rush Limbaugh, so they know what to do. No panic.

Yes indeed. Listeners of these shows have concluded that it's all astroturf campaigns being directed by Media Matters. If anything they will become even MORE loyal to Hannity and his sponsors.

Can't keep using the same tactic over and over again successfully.

Update now the Fox/Sky deal in the UK is somehow affected by the Seth Rich lawsuit.

This is what you wrote. Her timeslot was not #1 for the week. I thought that was the case when I couldn't authenticate your information.

He's probably checking the 25-54 money demo.
