Es to California 5/17/17 including 100W LPFM! (and a bit on 5/16)

Two days of E-skip, with the second night being much better. First off...the spotty 5/16 logs.

5/16/17
5:57PM - Brief burst of Es on 101.1 with Zac Brown Band 'My Old Man'.
6:03PM - UNID 98.3 with CMT Radio Live, cannot be IDed but suspected WBJI Blackduck MN...6m blew up to not just the Dakotas and MN, but also to Colorado/Nebraska and lots of double hop noted as well. Also fadeups on 95.5 and 90.5.
6:33PM - 96.5 KRGI Grand Island, NE; fair signal with ad for Kermit's Super Wash in Grand Island. Relog, 100KW at 1174 miles.
6:50PM - UNID 88.7 Classical fadeup, suspect KLNE Lexington NE (relog)
6:57PM - UNID 88.7 with 'On Broadway' George Benson, suspect KXNM NM.
7:08PM - Classical fading back up on 88.7, again suspected KLNE. Last fadeup.

5/17/17 - California!
6:08PM - First signs with Spanish Rel. fading up on 93.3 over KRKL along with Air 1 on 97.5 (suspect KYGA). 93.3 clip posted in FM UNIDs.
6:12PM - Highest MUF, 103.7 with 'Baby Got Back' Sir Mix-A-Lot. Suspected KFBT Fresno. MUF stayed here for several minutes. K210CX 89.9 (Air 1) just six miles away...pummeled by Es!
6:14PM - 100.5 KMQA East Porterville, CA; faint 'La Maquina' ID mixing with KWIQ/Moses Lake. NEW #539, 2KW at 732 miles. The same network airs on KMNA/98.7 where I live.
6:16PM - 98.5 KOLS-LP Oakhurst, CA; promo for inspiring Catholics followed by EWTN mention. This is the only Catholic station in the PTA! NEW #540, 100 watts at a short 642 miles!! Impressed with the lucky ID!
6:19PM - 98.5 KDFO Delano, CA; Food Maxx and local lawyer commercials; ID 98.5 The Fox. NEW #541, 8KW at 751 miles. Thought this was KUFX San Jose at first. WRONG!
6:20PM - 100.7 KHEY Ventura, CA; ID '100.7 KHEY' into 'Out Last Night' by Kenny Chesney. NEW #542, 39KW at 854 miles.
6:21PM - 95.7 KJFX Fresno, CA; live remote mentioning Hog Heaven; ID '95.7 the Fox'. NEW #543, 17.5KW at 681 miles.
6:24PM - 93.1 KKXX Shafter, CA; woman winning tickets to WWE Live in Bakersfield, followed by ID 'The All-New Hits 93.1.' NEW #544, 4KW at 769 miles.
A couple of unid 88.3's faded in for seconds at a time, and then skip was gone by 6:35.

Still have a 93.3 UNID that hasn't been IDed yet. Wish tonight's opening was longer so I could bag several more logs from CA, but I'll take the 4 new (for now at least).
BTW, a DXer in the Bay Area got KFAE/89.1 Richland, WA around the time I had KMQA-100.5. That's my semi local, 70 miles SE of me.
 
You should have had Montana, east BC or Alberta on FM. A DXer in Seattle told me on the skip log that his friend in Santa Rosa logged 95.3 Calgary at the same time I was getting KMQA-100.5. Another in San Mateo area had KFAE Richland on 89.1.
 
Some Es on 5/18 as well, just relogs.
5:33PM - 93.3 KKOB Albuquerque, NM; ID 'KOB-FM' into top 40 music. Relog, 21.5KW at 1076 miles.
An UNID rock station faded up on 94.1 (suspect KZRR) at 5:40, then everything was gone.
6:30PM - UNID 88.7 with weather forecast, right into Maxine Nightingale's 'Right Back Where We Started From'. Suspect KXNM Encino NM, which I've heard before.
6:48PM - 94.1 KZOR Hobbs, NM; interview with Hobbs High School athletic director // stream, mentioning NM HS Baseball championships. Relog, 100KW at 1331 miles.

Audio to be posted of KZOR later, probably tonight or Monday. Extremely busy right now with other things. Also had Es today and will be posted in a separate thread.
