Wes Minter - WSB

Just saw on PBRTV and All Access that former WSB host Wes Minter passed away last week (4/18/2017). Always found it interesting that WSB jettisoned him to WHIO in 1992 before the announcement of Neal Boortz joining the station. Not sure if this was to prevent WGST from hiring him or if Boortz insisted on it. In addition to WSB and WHIO, he was also heard on WAFS (Atlanta), WCCO Minneapolis), KRMG (Tulsa), and did fill-in on KDKA (Pittsburgh).

I remember him on KCMO 810 (and later 710) in Kansas City, too. He was there when I got to KC in '97 and left in either '98 or '99. I think he left there to work for Waste Management in Phoenix, and he went to KRMG in Tulsa a couple years after that.
