CBS affiliate WNCN Switching Channels.

They will move their digital transmissions from 17 to 8, but they will retain 17 as their virtual (display) channel. Nine other stations in the Raleigh-Durham market will see similar changes:
4/WUNC (PBS) - 25 to 20
5/WRAL (NBC) - 48 to 17
11/WTVD (ABC) - 11 to 9
22/WLFL (CW) - 27 to 18
28/WRDC (My Network TV) - 28 to 14
30/WRAY (Religious) - will discontinue 20 and share with a station TBA
40/WUVC (Univision) - 38 to 22
47/WRPX (Ion) - 15 to 32
50/WRAZ (Fox) - 49 to 15
62/WFPX (Ion) - will discontinue 36 and share with a station TBA
