103.3 FM simulcast of AM 1240

Now broadcasting 15 watts from the AM 1240 tower. I heard it sporadically driving in La Mesa, even though Radio Locator shows signal highly directional towards National City. But I'm wondering why they bother. The Vibe from Santa Barbara sometimes drowns it out even on non-tropo-ducting days. On hot tropo days, Vibe swamps it.
