Newspaper articles in print and online

The Record Journal based in Meriden, Connecticut and primarily serving Meriden, Wallingford, Southington, and Cheshire did a few stories last week about the number of houses that are in foreclosures in the area towns. People commented to their Facebook page that the newspaper is exploiting the people's misfortunes.

I personally disagree. It's lets people know what's going on. And people are interested in buying foreclosed homes.

Then the Bristol Press which is based in Bristol, Connecticut had this story.

Bristol Doctor killed in fiery crash on Route 9

People commenting to their Facebook Page that they word "fiery" is unnecessary.

I disagree. The article mentions that 2 people who stopped to help were burned by fire while attempting to rescue the doctor from the burning car.

Neither of those examples seems out of line for a newspaper to report IMO.

On Facebook, some people will comment just to comment.
