Yeah, the signal seems somewhat better. Still a lot of interference once you get up over the ridge, but not as much.
They had the HD2 on Thursday PM, and back to the main signal this morning.
Re: the contest, safety is the most overrated of all the virtues. Mike Rowe said it best--Safety Third, not Safety First. Common sense and personal responsibility are first and second.

But the FCC is a political organization, and as such optics and other BS matter. Plus many of the laws and regs in this country that various agencies make money and payroll off of would be superfluous if common sense and personal responsibility came first.
