Texas Coast Broadcasters Reunion

This Saturday, 4/1/17, it's the annual KNUZ-KQUE/KAYC-KAYD reunion at El Patio 6444 Westheimer Rd, in Houston. Whether you were in sales, engineering, a member of the staff or your voice was heard on 1230, 1450, 97.5 or 102.9 during the time when these radio properties were owned by Texas Coast Broadcasters (originally Veteran's Broadcasting) then show up, enjoy some food and conversation. We will be there from 11AM-2PM.

"Chris Lee" 1450 KAYC/97.5 KAYD 1977-1979 (I was the one who signed KAYD off as an AOR and the next morning we went Top40....even did morning drive on 97.5...the staff thought I should have replaced Michael, the PD who was morning drive at the time, as he was still in his AOR mood and not a high energy Top40 DJ :rolleyes:)

Great time Chuck!!! Enjoyed the chat!! I doubt anyone else from the BPT cluster was there....only a few present knew me (you and Harold!).....Looking forward to next one...have some old KAYC bumper stickers and even my aircheck from then!! :cool:
