He is leaving KVUE Austin the Tegna station for Tennessee

KVUE (Austin) Weekend Meteorologist Jared Plushnick says that the viewers in Austin are "incredible" and he and his wife have made life long friends in the city.

But, he's still leaving.

Plushnick signs off at the end of the week, bound for Tennessee.

Plushnick joined KVUE in 2014 announced on Facebook that he’s been hired to be the morning meteorologist at WKRN in Nashville.

His final broadcast will be Friday, when he fills in on KVUE’s 11 a.m. newscast.
