That might have been for when WXDJ first signed on at 17107 SW 248 St.
Moving north and decreasing both their height and power might have given WAIL an oportunity to increase their signal but would not be a cause [for them] to re-crystal their transmitter.

No power change. There was a issue in a STA for WAIL (The station was off the air for quite some time - that is another story too detailed). The 95.7 allocation was issued. In short, they paid us to move, and rebrand with the new frequency.
 
Here is some good news about the WAIL:
They will be more than doubling their height while joining WEOW, WHNJ, WPIK & WMFM
on what appears to be a new stick just west of the western end of a Blimp Rd. extension on Cudjoe Key.
Blimp Rd. likely gets its name from where the Radio and TV Marti blimp is, or blimps are, located.
