Binnie Media just sold the license for WNDS TV back to the Feds in the spectrum auction ( as did Asnins WLVI TV RIP ) so now that Binnie Media has some cash in the bank, and a bunch of stations in NH do you think they will try to come over the border into MA and pick up something in the Entercom/CBS divestiture?

and the FCC, operating under an administration that has no love for the media, is going to toss them the biggest gift since Clinton relaxed the last limits, and let one company control close to 50% if not more of the billing in the market?

Maybe being pro-business..it's possible ownership caps could be lifted or cross ownership allowed (w/ newspapers etc) but yes, maybe not an allowance of one company controlling so much revenue in a market.Agreed about Trump's disdain for media.

I'd love to see them try it. Binnie Media is a class act. If they come to Boston they will make some serious noise.

The issue is that any stations that have to be spun off will likely be traded for properties in other markets due to tax considerations.
