ESPN Launches New Adam Schefter Audio Podcast

http://news.radio-online.com/cgi-bin/rol.exe/headline_id=n33717

ESPN Audio launched a new weekly podcast Tuesday with NFL Insider Adam Schefter. The new "Adam Schefter's Know Them from Adam" podcast is an interview series featuring long-form conversations with individuals who have a connection to pro football. Discussions touch upon football topics and go much deeper, exploring life lessons, philosophies, what motivates the interview subjects, and more.

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is Schefter's first podcast guest. In their conversation, Jones discusses growing the sport of football, why he went from NFL maverick to a Hall of Fame finalist, the key to having a successful NFL franchise, and how close he actually came to drafting former Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel.

"The podcast is something I have wanted to do for a while because it blends all my interests-football, people, lessons, philosophies, advice, and more," said Schefter. "This is a chance to have deeper conversations with people inside and outside the industry who share a love of football. Even more important, I want to learn about the personal experiences that shaped who they are and what made them successful."

The podcast is available now to subscribe and listen in the ESPN App, at the ESPN PodCenter and via the Apple iTunes store.
