Once upon a time, when businesses made a profit, songs on the radio weren't even 3 minutes in length, such as "I want Candy" or "Something Else" or "Iko Iko".

Nowadays, Iron Maiden writes 18 minutes songs about the Hindenburg disaster. And they complain about radio exposure. Ahem.

What song length do radio stations need to play adequate advertising?
