A lot of songs, particularly rock songs, are just too long to be marketable. How long should songs be to be marketable?
As a fan or rock music, I really wish there were some young talent to really make it big like Led Zeppelin did back in the day.
But I think these guys need to get real about how long the songs have to be. You need people that can get the song length down.
The only band that ever did that was Poison with "Look what the Cat Dragged In" and of course George Michael's "Faith."
