106-5 The Shark Appreciation Thread

Corpus Christi's new Rock Alternative, 106-5 The Shark, spins a good mix of 90s alternative with today's fresh alt rock.

If you like rock alternative, I would give it a listen on the TuneIn app.

The station has a strong signal, you can pull it in from Victoria all the way down to Encino, just north of the Rio Grande Valley.

The last time I heard them (which was earlier this year), they played Bruno Mars and Maroon 5. Not what I call alternative unless they have changed.

That's strange. I listen pretty regularly and I've never heard any pop on The Shark.

It could have been KOVE out of Houston-Galveston. I've heard Daya in addition to Shakira and Julieta Venegas.
