Josh Innes Is Back On the Air In Houston

And Houston radio, in my opinion, is not better for it. If anything, Innes is taking it into the toilet. Get a load of how he spent his first week on the KBME 790 airwaves.

http://www.chron.com/sports/article...o-610-using-Josh-Innes-arrival-to-9969061.php

He's firebombing everybody in town, especially his former employer KILT 610 and taking no prisoners. 610 is making no secret of trying to use Innes to poach some of 790's sponsors. And judging from what 790 listeners are hearing, I think some 790 advertisers WILL jump ship.

It must be one of the requirements in iHeart's employee conduct manual. Today is the Ides of October - Really. Look it up - I predict Innes won't last six months at the rate he's going. He'll be gone before the Ides of March.

What a shame that an intelligent host like Charlie Pallilo was let go to make room for this clown. He was the only radio show I would make a point to listen to when I lived in Houston. Never a shill for the local teams and always able to intelligently make his arguments.
How likely is it that Pallilo returns to 610 and joins up with Rich Lord again after all these years?
