NFL TV Ratings Down 10%, Even More For Prime Time Games

are these exclusive or will they still be on a network? not worth $50 if they aren't, how much more would they be if they were?

They are exclusive on their specific platform. That's it. We live in a multi-platform world, and the NFL can sell its rights separately to each platform. They sell OTA radio rights, satellite radio rights, internet radio rights, etc. OTA TV rights are ten times what Amazon paid. Amazon is using this to market their Fire device.

And get subscribers to Prime TV.

A partnership with YouTube would reach just about everyone, theoretically, although I'm sure it would be made part of the fee-based Red service, which would cut its numbers drastically. It also would likely spell the end for all those vintage NFL games, NFL films and highlights that are so easily found on YouTube and seldom get taken down.
Not to mention all the gamers who either stream their Madden gameplay live or post videos of it on YouTube as well

it was also on CBS, NBC, or NFL network, but would this be streaming exclusive except for the team's primary markets where a local station airs the game like when they it's on ESPN or NFL Network
And usually, it's the station which has the team's Preseason game rights since the league leaves it up to the teams for those (Minus the ones that air on the networks of course :) )

He says it's the future, but Amazon is paying less for the NFL than OTA Radio. So if it's the future, it will be for a lot less money than the NFL gets now from broadcasting.
