Class A FM Owners and managers send a tweet now!
Here is another project we have been working on for small town radio. This will help
hundreds of small town stations around the country including WLYB. With uneven terrain
and electronic interference issues in rural communities, this will help improve indoor
reception in office buildings and rural towns for many stations.
If you get a opportunity, please tell everyone to drop the FCC staff a tweet (suggested
tweet below) to the FCC commissioners and staff.
Thanks!

Hello fellow broadcasters -
GREAT NEWS from FCC Commissioner Ajit Pai yesterday at the NAB/RAB Radio
Show!
The FM Class C4 allocation is closer to reality than ever! Soon, hundreds
of Class A FM stations may be able to upgrade to 12,000 Watts. Not
everyone will qualify, but so far, we have identified almost 800 stations
that could potentially increase in power.
The FM Class C4/73.215 Petition is now on the "front burner" with the
Commission. Commissioner Pai made the announcement during a regulatory
panel session at the NAB/RAB Radio Show in Nashville on Thursday:

The 12kW FM station allocation can be a reality, and the FCC is trying to
put out a formal Notice of Proposed Rulemaking on this issue as early as
six months from now.
We need your help!
We have been advised to take to social media to express industry support
for the proposal.
I am asking you to go to your Twitter and Facebook accounts and let the
FCC Commissioners and trade publications know that you are in support of
the FM Class C4 / 73.215 proposal.
Please go to www.twitter.com and send this tweet of support:
Let's make the FM Class C4 / 73.215 Proposal a Reality! #12kWforAll
...and send it to @FCC, @AjitPaiFCC, @MClyburnFCC, @TomWheelerFCC,
@JRosenworcel, @mikeofcc, @matthewberryfcc, and anyone else linked with
the FCC that you may know.
PLEASE go to your Facebook pages and express support for the C4/73.215
proposal there as well.
Also, visit the trade publications (the links to this story above) -
rbr.com, rwonline.com, recnet.com, radioink.com, et cetera - to post
positive comments about the petition in those places as well.
Please forward this message to your peers and other broadcasters. If you
have any questions, then do not hesitate to email me or call. I would
be more than happy to discuss the Class C4 / 73.215 plan.
