I recently started streaming my own online radio station http://wdcrmodernrock.radio.net/ feel free to take a listen and any pointers, opinions or criticism is more than welcome. I am still new to this and have been fumbling my way through it trying different ways to get my station heard by more than just a few friends and have found it is very difficult. I have set up a facebook page as well as submitted the station to be carried on a few directories, some which i have heard back and some not. Just wondering if there is anyone out there who has built a successful station and any advice as to how to get this thing out there a little more, any advice is good advice as far as I'm concerned. You need to get listed on as many portals as you can. Check out my page, I'm sure I have quite a few you're not currently on. www.usa-dance.net/radio.html
