simple solution for recording interviews

I'm sure everyone may have thought of this but I thought it may be worth posting. I host a 90 minute show once per week and from time to time have a chance to interview some interesting guests. The problem is they may not be available 8:30 am EST on Saturday. I do have an old hybrid at home that works fine, but my day job gets in the way. Last week I was at work, put my phone on speaker, set my iPhone next to it and recorded in the voice memo app. The result wasn't bad, certainly good enough for AM or podcast talk. I emailed the file to myself, did a little editing and played it on the air as if it were live. The interview starts about 24 minutes into the show http://johnfpaul.podomatic.com/entry/2016-08-20T12_41_56-07_00
Not rocket science but it seem to work and thought I would share.
