WAMU selling Bluegrass Country

Bluegrass Country isn't my cup of tea, but it seems like the two translators currently carrying BC, would be pretty valuable themselves as AM stations start looking for translator opportunities, given they're in the commercial side of the band. Leave the BG country on the 88.5 HD2, and sell those two translators to the highest bidder. Done!

Actually three translators: Reston, Frederick, and Hagerstown. Reston is the only one within the DC metro.

Looks like they sold two of the translators:

From RBR.com:

We have two notable closings to report. Manning Broadcasting closed on the purchase of two translators from American University. Also, Lotus closed on an FM in Reno, Nevada.

Both of the translators are located in Maryland, one in Paramount and the other in Frederick. Manning paid $100,000 cash in the deal brokered by Larry Patrick and Jason James of Patrick Communications.
