Airchecks: Night Time America (RKO) 19 August, 24-25 November 1981

How many of you remember the overnight show "Night Time America?"

Night Time America (NTA) was an overnight music show, hosted by Bob Dearborn. Based in New York, it was syndicated through RKO Radio and distributed via satellite to affiliates throughout the US. The show ran from 1981 to 1984, and was one of the first shows of its kind.

Here are airchecks of NTA, divided into four parts. The first two mp3's are from 19 August 1981, and the other two are from the overnight hours of 24-25 November 1981. These were recorded from affiliate KADI-FM St. Louis. The files are 192/44.1 and can be found at this link:

It wasn't. My user name had more to do with the year 1967--one of my favorite years in music. That said, I do like Paul Revere & The Raiders too.
