Canada allows HD Radio Multicasting

I was just perusing the web, and it looks as though either Industry Canada or the CRTC, whomever regulates this, has finally chosen to allow HD radio stations to add digital sub-channels.
Since Canada switched from the Eureka-147 format standard several years ago, they have always restricted stations to offering only a single program choice.

Can you post a link to an article about it? All I'd heard (a while ago) was that one or two specific stations had been authorized for it, but that multicasting was generally prohibited.

Just south of Buffalo I get a station from Hamilton ON has had multi casting for several months 95.3 CING has 2 subchannels but they are just sister AMs on HD2 and HD3

So far, Corus radio (owner of 95.3 FM in Hamilton) Durham radio inc (owner of KX 94.7 Hamilton) and Dufferin communications (owner of Z 103 and various other stations)
are the main 3 that seem committed to doing something with HD radio.

There may be others, but they're not doing much to promote themselves like the above three companies are. (ie something as simple as a mention on their radio station website...)

Durham radio inc is also currently the only radio company doing something different (ie not repeating an AM or FM) as they chose to add Wave 94.7 HD2 (a smooth jazz station)
Wave was originally on 94.7 FM, but it's been a Country station for a few years now.

Notice how it's "Wave.fm" and "Wave 94.7 HD2" mentioned on the website: http://www.wave.fm/
While KX 94.7 is still Country on FM in Hamilton: http://www.kx947.fm/
