Next Radio App

I got a HTC at&t phone it does has this, pretty neat. It would be neat if they could put HD Radio in them.

Too bad T-Mobile just started on FM chips. I have a Galaxy Note 4 (not that one exploding phone, then I would have gotten another phone besides that one) and it doesn't have an FM chip. T-Mobile really doesn't do that much for FM chips.

I think local stations should get on board with Nextradio. Be sure to hype the list of Nextradio compatible phones on station websites/FB pages, potentially getting people shopping for a new phone.

Also, there may be some Tracfone/NET10 phones that have FM radio too. Tracfone offers the LG 'Sunset', but doesn't mention FM capability: http://www.tracfone-orders.com/bpdi...1464055725&productVariantExtensionId=45987419

Here's a spec page from LG itself regarding the Sunset mentioning FM radio capability: http://www.lg.com/us/cell-phones/lg-L33L-sunset-lte.

I wouldn't imagine Tracfone asking for the feature to be disabled. Assuming you could get procure several, this might be fun giveaway idea.

We run the next radio ads three times a day, and other stations in the market have joined in. The phone activation depends on the carrier. Next radio has done a good job in getting the word out. Stations need to jump on board and run the ads.

Tracfones (as far as I know) have always had FM radio enabled. The flip phone versions had FM through a micro-mini headphone plug in mono... (at least some of) the newer smartphone versions (like their Alcatel smartphone) work better on FM, but the output is still in mono.

Any chance that Nextradio will come to iPhones?

Not likely with no headphone jack in the current model; the headphone cable is the antenna for FM reception in smartphones.
