Alt Rock in OKC on 92.9 The Edge

Translator station 92.9 in Oklahoma City has flipped from CHR to Alternative as "92.9 The Edge - OKC's Rock Alternative".

Upon many visits to OKC, this was a gaping hole in the terrestrial market; it's nice to see it filled.

Other than the "Spy" formats over the years, this MAY be the only alt. station in the history of OKC.

94.7 had two runs of alternative. KNRX as "95X" between 1996-1998 and 2002-2009 as KHBZ "The Buzz" before shifting to active rock and classic rock. Now currently running as "94.7 the Brew" as an active rock station.
