WSAZ 'Charleston Split' question

Does WSAZ still do the "Charleston Split" or has all news production moved to Huntington? The "Charleston Split" is when the station produces separate newscasts for Charleston on W16CE and Suddenlink cable. W16CE still broadcasts in analog per RabbitEars, there was a CP to convert to digital, but it expired in September.

Sister station WQCW had a translator in Charleston which was sold off to DTV America. What might happen to W16CE?

With the repack, WQCW is moving to RF 15, which was W16CE's assigned digital channel. No new channel is indicated for W16CE. If they can't find another channel, is this the end of the "Charleston Split" ?

I read on TVNewsTalk that WSAZ no longer does a Charleston Split. The two anchors based in Charleston and Huntington appear side by side at the open and throughout the newscast; they both say good night at the end. Also, W16CE may be silent.
