Here's a fascinating historical piece about WWJ-AM (Detroit)'s 95th birthday.
We can only wonder what CBS has planned for their 100th birthday five years from now...maybe bring all us "older" guys back for a chat who remember when they had a glassed in studio at Northland and Westland malls in the Detroit area, and we could watch Bob Allison host "Ask Your Neighbor" from those studios. Thanks Barry Mishkind for your outstanding publication....thebdr.net

Thebdr is much more about history though. Barry is former editor of Radio Guide and before that was a long-time columnist in Radio World, as "The Eclectic Engineer." He brings a lifetime of industry experience as an Engineer and one of the finest trade journalists and editors I've ever known. He turned some articles I wrote as throw-away pieces into masterpieces.
