VHF Field Intensity vs. H-Distance and Height AGL from the TX Antenna

For consideration and comment, the graphic below shows the E-fields of a VHF transmit system, for the conditions shown there.

This analysis is based on the Canadian BETS-1 standard, which can produce much higher fields at 3 meters than permitted by FCC §15.239.

But regardless, a system could be compliant under either standard when measured at one distance and elevation, but non-compliant when measured at a different elevation at that same azimuth bearing and distance.
