BC North Vancouver 99.9 new Commercial. 102 watts (450 watts Max. ERP). Triple A. Would have simulcasted CKEE 101.1 Whistler. The CRTC considered that the proposed transmitter is not necessary to provide the service that it was originally licensed to for Whistler.
BC Vancouver 99.7 new Commercial. 1,940 watts (6,000 watts Max. ERP). News-Talk. Would have been a nested repeater for CKNW 980 New Westminster. The CRTC considered that the applicant’s proposal does not represent an appropriate solution to interference issues in downtown Vancouver. The common ownership policy also played a factor in the decision.
QC Gatineau 97.1 CHLX Denied request to remove required 20% Special Interest Music (Jazz & Blues).

Just a note:

PROPOSED OWNERSHIP CHANGES
ON Brantford 93.9 CFWC From Sound of Faith Broadcasting to the Evanov Radio Group.

Evanov radio group intends to maintain the same format, but move the station into existing CKPC AM/FM studios.
If the station ownership change is rejected, they intend to welcome the owner to move in anyway and share the same facility.
This cuts down on rent etc. and keeps the cost of running the station down so it can survive.

Also:

PROPOSED CONDITION OF LICENSE CHANGES
ON Ottawa 101.9 CIDG Remove required 20% Special Interest Music (Jazz & Blues). Lower Canadian content from 40 to 35%.

Are they planning a format change??

It almost sounds like a format change is in the cards. However don't be surprised if Newcap, Rogers, Bell, etc. file interventions opposing the proposed condition of license changes.

I'm guessing they'll be okay with the changes to the licence, but not a format change, unless the newly proposed format is not a direct threat to any of their formats...
