Re:

LMAO at Gnash 92.3!!!!!

32 kW signal + horrible programming = 1.0 share in San Jose. Great job, Cumulus!!!! What makes 810 KGO look like a smash success? Answer: Gnash-FM 92-3.

KRTY defeated them by a 4:1 margin, which I believe is the most lopsided victory in favor of KRTY outside of the first 90 days Gnash was on the air.

Q102 continues to impress, both in the San Francisco market at-large and in the South Bay.

They could bring back Channel 92.3. iHeartMedia (back when they were CC) thought it was viable. Anyways, it couldn't do worse than this.

Maybe they should just do a full time simulcast with their sister station from Modesto, KAT Country. That station is well programmed and well managed.

I wish you people would stop going apesh*t over the publicly released 12+ ratings, which do not tell the whole story. (If they were really worth something, Nielsen wouldn't give them away.)

The real story comes from looking at the "money demos" of 18-49 and 25-54. And if you'll look at the ratings thread on the L.A. board, you will see that one poster's prediction of a station's demise, based on 12+, was found to be in error when the money demos were compared.

Go find someone with access to the full book and ask them who did well or poorly. You may get different answers than the ones you are presuming based on the meaningless numbers.
