We can "Relax" now at 103.3

Who else is hearing this signal at 103.3 FM: They identify as "KRSA Moss Beach, K277CH San Francisco, Relax." The music is all over the place and sounds like somebody's iPod on shuffle. Everything from smooth jazz to classic rock to 80s pop. Occasionally there are spots for small businesses in the 650 area code. KRSA is the latest call sign for 89.3 Moss Beach, near Pacifica.

Radio Locator says that the 103.3 translator has a CP for increased coverage. The map looks like it could potentially reach some densely populated areas. I know that they make it to the Oakland Hills on good days but the Modesto country station gives them grief on bad ones.

So now we either have someone squatting on one of the few translator frequencies available in the Bay Area, hoping to cash in by selling to one of the bigger players one day...and/or we have a "we-play-everything" station with an even more bizarre playlist than the fabled "Lumberyard 14~Forty" franchise in Scottsdale. (See the Phoenix forum if you're unfamiliar.)

This is one of those signals that looks good on paper but falls apart in the real world of San Francisco despite what the map shows.
