New 100.1 LPFM in T&C Area / Spanish

Sure is quiet around here, news-wise.

There's a new LPFM sign-on in Town & Country area. 100.1 FM WVVF-LP, Spanish format...sounds spanish tropical but I'm not claiming I know one latin format from another.

It's already on TuneIn, which is how I noticed it. Website is http://vivaradiotampa.com/ and ownership is Hispanic Arts of Tampa, Inc. Tower location looks like it may be very close to if not on the same Egypt Lake tower setup WTMP-AM uses.

It's also interfering with WZJZ-FM (Y100.1 Hot AC), as I can hear their signal from all the way in Spring Hill?! DXing with a local car radio? That is weird...

WZJZ should barely be listenable if at all in Spring Hill.

However, Tampa is a high Tropospheric area and all sorts of signals travel long distances.

I've heard WZJZ as far as West Orlando on some days.
