Question about POWER 105.1's signal

This is probably one of the strangest reasons for posting a question on this radio forum.


I'm writing a fictional story. My characters are driving to the Baltimore area from Connecticut area via New Jersey. They stop for a half hour break at the Newport Centre Mall in Jersey City, New Jersey. They're listing to POWER 105.1 on the radio in the SUV. How far from Jersey City can POWER 105.1's signal be heard? Obviously their coverage map isn't going to help me.

Will the characters be going into the mall or will they stay in the car and see what they can pick up on the radio? If they go into the mall, don't forget to note any unusual selections they may hear on the in-house audio.
