CJCS 1240 in Stratford applies for an FM flip

Vista Radio has applied to convert CJCS 1240 AM in Stratford, Ontario to 107.1 FM with 900 watts (4,000 watts maximum ERP). Antenna height will be 32.6 metres (EHAAT) with the radiation pattern being directional. The new station will feature a Rock format.

Lloyd Robertson got his start at this station. When he retired from CTV's night time newscast, he went back and did a surprise noon newscast. There was footage of it by CTV.
