We hope that KNXR will still keep their wonderful tradition of wonderful music alive ! Their easy listening format is very special indeed ! Any word or insight would be appreciated. Thank you.
It's certainly possible that KNXR moves to co-owned 89.9, where it would displace the current classic rock format. It would have to run as a non commercial station, which would most likely mean no more CBS news, but could continue on nearly status quo.
Have some sad news to report - at 1AM tonight, the lights will go out at KNXR in Rochester. The Easy Listening format has ceased operations, and will be replaced by a top 40 station in the near future. RIP to a Minnesota FM institution!
