Who's gonna go all-Christmas in MS this year?

Two Birmingham ACs flipped the switch last Friday. Magic 93.7 on the coast, Sunny 93.3 Tupelo and Lite 97.9 Greenville usually go all-Xmas in November. Will the River in Jackson do it again this year?

105.1 was awful, as is most commerical stations these days. Of the literally thousands of christmas songs and albums available, they played the same tired 300 songs over and over. Last year I listened to Sirius XM christmas traditions. It mostly played 40's thru 60's, but at least didn't have any dreadful modern caterwauling pop stars butchering the classics. That means you Mariah Carey. Stevie Nicks mumbling her one note version of Silent Night is another dishonerable mention.

Magic 93.7 did, indeed, make the switch to all-Christmas. In addition, Mobile's Lite Mix 99.9 (which puts out good signal on the MS coast) is all-Christmas. Both are Clear Channel stations.
