Another new CA logged! 10/24/14

One of my big wanted ones from central CA as well.

1420 - KSTN Stockton, CA; poor floating under KMHS with ID "105.9 The Bull," into "Hey Pretty Girl" by Kip Moore at 1828 PT 10/24. NEW #632, 5000 watts, 598 miles. Topaz Designs still says "stunting" which is not right - they are on a country format now repeating K290AG-105.9 Stockton. CA #110 (and still need 141 of them darn it!)

Conditions tonight are semi-Au with loads of CA and NV, but loads of OR screwing up valuable graveyard opportunities from CA and NV. @#&$!

Got better last night with pretty Au-like condx at times. Another new log, very late

1360 - KWDJ Ridgecrest, CA; varied signal from vy poor to fair, with "Don't Stop Til You Get Enough" Michael Jackson, ID "1360 KWDJ" and into "Brass in Pocket" Pretenders at 2306 PT 10/23. NEW #633, tent 1KW day power (31W? I don't think so.) 772 miles. CA #111.

Also heard unid SS 910 (will post tape again - KOXR or XEAO?), 1250 unid soft mx, maybe Catholic - KHOT Madera? 81W flea power if so! Another unid on 1370 with Red Eye Radio (maybe KRAC), later at 6AM with America in the Morning but not on list! Odd. Also old SS music beaming south - maybe KZSF San Jose (still needed).

KSTN was meant to be 10/23 as well.

Just confirmed a 10/24 log via audio clip!

1370 - KRAC Red Bluff, CA; heard at 0630 PT 10/24 and taped, with ID "A new voice with some great radio ??? - KIQS 1370 Red Bluff-Redding and KIQS 1560 Willows." Obviously they are really promoting the 1560 station by using it in the 1370 ID as well. NEW #637, with a whopping 200 watts at 448 miles! The solar flux was in the 220s these mornings so no wonder the cx were really good to the south and southeast.
