While we were celebrating the arrival of folders on the Wii U in the latest system update, a rather grim piece of news slipped by undetected. Until you agree to the new Wii U EULA (End-User License Agreement), Nintendo will lock you out of your console.
After launching your system, you’ll be notified of an update to the Wii U EULA. Nintendo will let you read through the new document and change the viewing language, but they only provide an “Agree” button; unlike with EULA updates in the past, there is no “Disagree” button. Until you agree to the legally binding conditions, all features of your Wii U remain inaccessible.
